On Getting Dressed

Posted on January 24th 2013 by
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve lost count of how many times I can possibly wear a vintage band t-shirt, boyfriend jeans and/or leathers pants, and stilettos, paired with a blazer of some sort. Closet full of clothes but nothing to wear? More like closet full of clothes and multiple things to wear; but we’ll see how long the outfit repetition lasts. I’ll be the first to admit to liking quality over quantity, and using the good old-fashion “cost per wear” equation to help solve my impulsiveness when I’m out shopping. Where I’m going with this whole thing on getting dressed is, when you have those pieces you love wear them all the time no matter how boring it might seem after awhile. Recently, I bought the chicest pair of high heeled closed toe pumps with dual ankle straps that can be pegged as an Alexander Wang “Emmaknock-off . Single sole pumps take a starring role this season, and look great with everything. I can go on for days about my crush on the PS1 leather bag and every “Celine Me Alone” or “Celine Up The Bitches” designer wordplay t-shirts, that are of great viewing pleasure on every street style blog. Oh, and lastly can we discuss Acne’s effortlessly cool Scandinavian chic footwear that are always a fashion-pack favorite. I’ve had my eye on the “Donna” textured leather booties for some time, but for now I’ll continue to crush.Black & White
